What Are You Doing?

Benjamin composed a song, What Are You Doing? for the Shame Chorus, an off-shoot of the London Gay Men's Chorus. The piece was a setting of a verbatim interview which featured a gay man talking about his experiences of coming out. It formed part of a wonderful evening of music by various composers, including Billy Bragg and David McAlmont, all of whom had set different interviews to music. The concert took place at the London Irish Centre on October 8th.
